Whilst looking for inspiration for this book I found multiple artists that used textures within their work. I thought this adds a pleasant richness and would lend itself perfectly to the Bible Stories theme. I believe it adds a needed depth to the images, allowing them to stand out in such a minimal layout.

BRIEF -

Working with writers, come up with an entertaining children’s version of the bible that includes 5 shortened stories. Featuring only as a premium square Hardback with 52 pages. Imagery must be appealing to young children, however this and the text must have traditional aesthetics as the product will be marketed towards grandparents. It must feature the Childs name on the cover and in the header of each spread.
